Key Requirements for Company Account (Current/SME):

Application Letter: Written application to open the account on company letterhead.

Company Documents: Certified copies of the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association.

Director/Shareholder Details: Certified Company Form 7 (Particulars of Directors).

Tax Compliance: Tax Identification Number (TIN) certificate.

Licenses: Copy of the company trading license.

Signatory Identification: Two (2) passport-size photographs and valid National IDs/Passports for all authorized signatories.

Resolution: Certified Board Resolution to open the account.

Physical Presence: All signatories must be physically present.

Opening Deposit: UGX 300,000.


NOTE; For other entity types like NGOs or SACCOs, additional documentation such as permits, bylaws, and introduction letters from authorities (e.g., District Commercial Officer) are required.
